I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan in a good liberal environment, a birthright but non-practicing Quaker. High School in Japan followed by Antioch College. Got into community radio at WYSO-FM in Ohio and moved to Santa Cruz for work at KUSP-FM. Still doing radio shows + some work at KUSP and also pouring a mean pint of Guinness at Santa Cruz's favorite Irish Pub: the Poet and Patriot. A cat person by nature.
