Grew up in Portland Oregon. Very active in SDS during college years (Swarthmore and Boston). In Vermont since 1970. Did lots of housebuilding, worked for food coop, local arts council. Always have sung. Started Word of Mouth Chorus 1973, did two three month tours with WOMC and Bread and Puppet in '78 and '80. Started Village Harmony in 1989. First Northern Harmony tour in 1993.
