People make projects happen. As a project manager I work processes that include developing plans and strategies, as well as managing schedules, costs, and risk. I believe, however, that people need to be put before process. I engage, listen, and foster collaboration. When people are valued and respected, project success follows.
Projects bring change, and change can be difficult for those impacted. I establish direction, align people to that direction, motivate and inspire to help people work through and understand that change.
