2. STUDENTS CHOOSE 5-6 VOCABULARY WORDS FROM THEIR ARTICLE THAT THEY MUST EXPLAIN WITH PICTURES OR VIDEOS
3. STUDENTS’ DESIGN AN ACTIVITY THAT WILL ENGAGE THE CLASS IN THEIR ARTICLE TOPIC Such as: A Debate (on politics under international) A Game (Fly Swatter, Hangman, or Pictionary) An Application Download for Iphones or Android phones
4. STUDENTS PRESENT THEIR ARTICLES FROM PRENSA LIBRE TO THE CLASS Instructor Provides Clarification of Meaning of Vocabulary Corrects Spelling and Pronunciation
RESULTS: STUDENTS ARE ENGAGED BECAUSE THEY PARTICIPATE IN MEDIA OF THEIR OWN INTEREST • Students Learn the content of Spanish articles based in contexts like Politics, Technology, Food Culture ect… • Students Learn Specialized Vocabulary words Nouns and Verbs • Students Learn About Guatemala and How to Read a Newspaper in Spanish • Students Learn About How to Use Multimedia to Learn Spanish
