Philosophy of Education
First and foremost, I believe that each student is an individual. That said, there are common grounds between students鈥攁nd between students and teachers鈥攖hat can best be handled by old-fashioned classroom discussion. I鈥檓 not quite the lecture type, and through my experience teaching online, in the 鈥渄iscussion-formatted鈥� classroom, I鈥檝e learned to see how each student can participate with others to create knowledge. Knowledge is, for me, ultimately constructive, and it doesn鈥檛 happen alone.
