Culturally responsive educator with a commitment to working with and uplifting urban/inner city youth. Skilled in curriculum development, collaboration, and differentiating for all abilities and learning styles. I have a Multiple Subject Credential and teach 5th grade at a charter school in deep East Oakland.
I have extensive experience working with youth, especially in communities of color- after school programs, sports camps, tutoring, religious education, and volunteer work. I believe that Education is the way to opening doors and new experiences and so I care deeply about Social Justice and Educational Equity for all students.
