Broadly speaking, I aim to make a positive impact on the field of science education through both research and teaching. My experiences as a physics teacher have provided me with a keen awareness of the complex, high-pressure environment of classroom teaching. This is something that I treasure as I work to increase the communication between teachers and education researchers.
