I had lived in Avondale, a historic district of Jacksonville for the last 18 years but relocated to Hawaii with my husband in April 2010. I loved living in paradise and made a point to appreciate every day we were here. As Navy life goes we moved after 3 yrs, so now we are living in Norfolk, Virginia. It's always an adjustment to start in a new city but as always we will make the best of it. I have been blessed in my life to have traveled around the world. Seeing the sunsets in Costa Rica, Carnival in Brazil & driving down the coast of Portugal will stay in my mind forever.
