The Council's Terms of Reference are as follows:
a) Provide advice on the accreditation standards and processes, as well as in areas related to development of the dating industry;
b) Act as the final approving authority for all accreditation applications from dating agencies;
c) Evaluate business proposals based on agreed funding criteria and determine the amount to be disbursed; and
d) Ensure that impartiality and high levels of integrity are observed by the dating industry.
