Niagara Falls is located along the border between Canada and the United States. It is made up of three waterfalls - Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Horseshoe Falls is the largest of the three and has around 90% of the Niagara River's flow, while the remaining 10% flows over American Falls. Bridal Veil Falls is separated from American Falls by Luna Island and from Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island. The American Falls has a distinctive "W" shape caused by several rock falls over the past 150 years.
