Prior to becoming an Educational Consultant, Rabbi David Leibtag served as the Head of School of the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR) in Lawrence, New York. HAFTR is among the largest yeshiva day schools on Long Island, New York, serving approximately 1500 students from preschool through grade twelve.
Rabbi Leibtag moved to New York from Missouri where he served as Headmaster of the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy of St. Louis from 1990-1998. During his tenure in St. Louis, the school鈥檚 enrollment increased by 25% and the Academy received accreditation from the prestigious Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
