I am a board-certified genetic counselor and Ph.D. candidate in bioethics and health policy.
My work focuses on reforming research ethics rules, and on engaging patients in genomic research integrated with their clinical care. To explore these topics, I draw upon lessons I have learned from my clinical experience in pediatric neurology. I have a master’s-level education in human genetics, psychosocial counseling, bioethics, and health policy. I am also trained in quantitative and qualitative research methods for the social sciences and health services. My academic skills build upon seven years of professional experience in management consulting in the private sector.
