MSC provides mentoring relationships between girls from disadvantaged neighborhoods in Baltimore and qualified volunteers to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Through after school programs, field trips, and one-on-one mentoring, MSC supports girls' self-esteem, friendships, and culture while assisting them through middle school, high school, and college with high retention and graduation rates.

One-to-One Mentoring Develop ongoing, intense mentoring relationships between girls residing in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in Baltimore with highly qualified volunteer mentors.
After School Program Dallas F. Nicholas and Abbottston Elementary Schools •Weekly after school sessions: self-esteem, friendship, culture, fun! •8-10 fifth grade girls per school, chosen by their principals •Field trips throughout the year •Middle school placement assistance Need
Our Results • 72% retention rate of those who start the program in 6th grade • 80.5% retention rate of those who enter high school in the program • 97% high school graduation rate of those who complete the program • 92% College entry to date
