I have ten years experience as a researcher and lecturer in higher education. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed papers and I am regularly invited to present my research at international conferences.
My specific areas of research interest are:
- exercise and asthma
- pacing and fatigue
My pedagogical interests are centred around the integration of technology into the classroom to enhance learning. In particular I am looking at how the use of social networks in promoting community, collaboration and communication can improve student engagement and experience. In addition I am exploring the role of game technology in developing the concept of non-linear learning.
