I am a Ph. D research student at Florida Atlantic University pursuing a degree in Public Administration over NGO's in the inner-city.
I am a contemporary essayist. The American Heritage Dictionary defines an essay as, "A short literary composition on a single subject, usually presenting the personal views of the author." In the words of Phillip Lopate an essay "...tracks a person's thoughts as he or she tries to work out some mental knot. ... An essay is a search to find out what one thinks about something. ...
