Mr. Taggart’s career spans 24 years across aerospace, automotive, and cleantech industries. Since spending half his career in aerospace at Lockheed’s famous Skunk Works, Mr. Taggart has held leadership roles in four start-ups including Hypercar, Inc., PowerLight (now SunPower,) OptiSolar, Inc. and Belectric, Inc.
At Belectric Inc., Mr. Taggart leads the North American operations of the world’s largest integrator of utility-grade PV power plants, providing industry leadership in long term performance guarantees, optimized project economics, and turn-key execution.
Holds BS Metallurgical Engineering from Cal Poly SLO, MS Materials Engineering from RPI, and Class B/C46 license
