I am an Adjunct Professor of Logistics and Simulation with the Department of Industrial Engineering at Polytechnic School of UFRJ. I am also a Professor with Operations Research Program and collaborate with Transportation Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ.
My research focuses on stochastic modeling, optimization via simulation, data-driven decision making, and uncertainty quantification. The application areas of interest include supply chain management, logistics and transportation, urban operations research, health care services, and sustainable operations management.
