Mr Ndiyoi is a graduate in agronomy with a minor in farming systems research and rural development from the University of Florida in 1988. He has worked in rural development and Agricultural Research in particular since 1981 and in field of project evaluations since 1989 leading to his first regional work evaluating the Arable Lands Development Project (ALDEP) in Botswana in 1992. In his early years, he worked in the Adaptive Research Planning Team which was part of the CIMMYT’s East and Southern African Network promoting research aimed at improving smallholder productivity.
