My healthcare career was ignited after taking health occupations in high school. I was in the reference laboratory business working my way from courier, to business office, to marketing, and had the opportunity to go into management with an area hospital. That move led to Erlanger then back to marketing/sales; all the while working with physicians, office managers, as well as hospital and non-profit administrators. This path prepared me for my greatest role as Director of Employer Relations to benefit the students and grads of MMTC. Very similar to sales and marketing, my professional life is about networking with employers and marketing the best product ever...a Miller-Motte grad!
