Born on 2nd May, 1946, in a small village of Jaipur District. Prof. Pareek obtained his B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in 1967,1969, and 1976 respectively from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He was awarded PhD degree on the topic 鈥淪tudies on in vitro Growth and Morphogenesis in Cells, Tissues and Organs of some Crucifer Plants.鈥� He joined the Department of Botany as an Assistant Professor in 1973, became Associate Professor in 1986 and Professor
