Born in Americus, GA. Graduated from Americus High School in 1970. Graduated from The University of Georgia - GO DAWGS! - in 1974. Met Roger Thigpen through a blind date to Homecoming 1971 set up by one of my infamous EK sisters! Married the week after graduation to the most wonderful man God created just for me! Had three kids - Christy, James, and Morgan. Now have two grandsons and two granddaughters. Lived in Manchester, GA; Opelika,AL; Troy, AL; Bainbridge, GA; Brandon, MS; and currently in Petal, MS.
