Because I felt the beyond-the-line market was ripe for a local agency with international understanding, a firm that could be innovative, capable of switching from an old-style "vertical delivery" approach to a more biz focused approach with an integrated mix of communication competences: corporate & marketing, online & offline, B2B & B2C, traditonal & social media.
Hence the name I chose: Competence. Ambitious but simple.
