The document discusses the design of an educational online series targeted at 7-11 year old children in the US. The series would follow a hero traveling through time meeting historical figures. It provides examples of similar educational programs like BBC Bitesize, which uses narrators, basic characters, and humor appropriate for children. It then outlines the key design elements needed for the new series, including character designs for Percy the Pirate, Einstein, and Sid the Sword, as well as boat designs, logo design, and other brand assets.

#14: Use of photoshop to create the characters after scanning in drawings
Alliterattion of the names
Sidd the Sword,
Percy the Pirate
Rolls of the tongue and more memorable for a young audience.
#16: Working progress of logo design, Scroll is pirate inspired, wanted to include Sid the sword in the logo.
After decided that Sid and percy were going to play equal amount of screen time, decided to have sid and percy visable.
#25: Every episode would begin very similar to another, in the sea on the boat. Easy identified by the child..
We decided to use the already created characters and locations we had made on photoshop to create our storyboard - Mainly because we all took on a different section of the story and wanted the style we used to be the same and continuous.
