My undergraduate training was at Emory University leading to a BA in Psychology. I obtained my MD degree at the Medical College of Georgia and subsequently completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship there. I joined the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia progressed through the ranks to achieve full professor and tenure.
In addition to board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, I passed the board requirements for Geriatrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Clinical Lipidology.
