SharonJonesjoinedusfora short time. There were nocorrectionstothe Decemberminutes. Committee Reports: CurriculumCommittee Commentsof the thirdand final draftof the Spring2015 Catalogwere returnedtothe maincampus on December13, 2014. The finalizedcopywase-mailedbacktothe campuseson December17, 2014 andit was postedonthe Lone Star website onthe weekof January5, 2015. Hard copieswere mailedoutto membershousesandtheywere receivedJanuary9,2015. Planningandpreparationforthe 2015 SpringRegistrationisunderway.The classlistingbydate,signup sheetsandotherdocumentshave beenpreparedbySarah.Copieswill be made onWednesday, January 14. The Decembertripon Saturday,December20 to San Antonio wasasuccess. We arrivedearlyenoughto enjoyoptional shoppingandmuseums.There wastime fora leisurelydinnerwithdrinksandtoenjoy the holidaylightsonthe RiverWalk. Everyone returnedtothe pickuplocationinatimelymanner.
- 2. The December9 signup for the firstquarter2015 tripshad a lessthan the normal numberof members inattendance. However,seatscontinuetobe filled. Currentlythere are 7 seatsavailable onthe January 28 trip,6 on the February14 tripand the March trip isfull (butthere isnota waitlist). If someone didnotspecifya definitejobIam puttingtheirname where theymayhave workedinthe past. We donot have an overabundance of volunteers. A few regularseitherdidnotrespond,orstatedthat theycan no longerbe a volunteer. Isuggestthe volunteersheetwe have onfile be updatedwithsome namesaddedandsome takenoff the list. Several membershave saidtheywill be availableFridayforsetup. We were senta memoaboutthe time we can beginthe setup,but I findita bit vague as to a definitestarttime thatI can give to the volunteers. - 3. Communicationand Membership Action Items 1. January17, 2015 will be the ALL OpenHouse forSpring2015. 2. MaureenCummingsdiscussedherspreadsheetof volunteersforthe OpenHouse. 3. SharonSamsonstatedthe sign-upforthe April,May andJune bus tripswill be onMarch 6, 2015. Comments 1. SharonJoneswasable to stop byfor a few minutes. She statedthatALL will notbe touched. She alsosaidtheyhope to have a part-time position,partiallydedicatedtoALL,filledbymid- February. 2. Sarah WaltersubmittedaThankYou note to the ALL AdvisoryBoardandMembershipexpressing thanksfor the donationtothe TheaterDepartmentbymeansof a chair inher name. She has enjoyedherservice asChairmanof the CurriculumCommittee andwillnow continue asa studentinthe ALL program. 12:30 Adjourned Thismeetingwasadjournedat 12:30 PM.
