When I stand before the Lord, I'd rather explain why I went, rather than why I didn't go.
I obtained my PhD in biochemistry at the University of Delaware. Now, I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Ben May Cancer Institute at the University of Chicago conducting biomedical research in hopes of establishing my own lab in the near future. I have serious career goals, but I am a pretty well-rounded person (I'd like to think) and know how to have a life outside of school.
