The District Director oversees all district office operations. This position develops and implements policy objectives, strategies and operating plans for the Congressman's district office and directs all activities and staff of the district office. Directly supervises district employees; carries out responsibilities in accordance with office policy and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training district office employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining district office employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
