I am now on a 3-year PhD program at the department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS) at the Hong Kong PolyU. I am the recipient of a scholarship from the university for a research project focusing on a new form of social activism in China, Public Welfare Actions (gongyi xingdong). The objective is then to remain in academia and start a teaching and research career.
