LYCS is a community development project in Dublin's inner city. Development Education is an important part of the adult education programme here. It involves exploring issues relevant to the community from local and global perspectives.

Development Education in LYCS started in the early 1990's, when LYCS began using Dev. Ed. within its social analysis work in the Adult Education Programme.
Since then, we have been involved in supporting other local organisations to bring a global perspective into their work; providing training, advice, information, activities etc.
