A bio is, I assume, meant to be a summary of an individual, the distillation of an identity as it were. I am uncomfortable with this idea, for identity is not simply a few interests or some key words. Some would assert identity to be the sum of an individual鈥檚 experiences, a collection of unique events that constitute the essence of a persons being. I on the other hand do not subscribe to a version of self that relies upon a narrative approach to my own formation as a discrete and discernable conscious entity.
