Team Will is organizing Go the Distance 2010, a cross-country bicycle ride from San Francisco to Kitty Hawk to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. Three teams of 15-20 cyclists each will cycle 3,400 miles over 10 days, visiting 8 state capitols and 13 major cities along the route. The event will include hospital visits and community rallies. Sponsorship opportunities range from $25,000 for platinum sponsors to $10,000 for silver sponsors.

12. The RouteBeginning in San Francisco, CA on June 15, 2010, riders will cycle across California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina arriving in Kitty Hawk, N.C., on June 24, 2010.
14. The HeroesTeam Will Heroes are children across the country with cancer. Our original hero is William Kiefer, who lost his battle in 2004, at just 17 months of age.We carry some of our heroes with us, and some we meet along the way.
16. Hero: William KieferOn March 7th, 2004, just two days after his first birthday, William was diagnosed with a Rhabdoid Tumor of the Kidney (RTK), a rare and extremely lethal cancer.
17. Within a week, the tumor was removed and William began intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
18. Five months later, the cancer reappeared as a brain tumor. William passed away August 1, 2004 at 17 months old.Hero: Aimee DickeyAimee was an active 11-year old when she was diagnosed with Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brainstem glioma and the rarest and deadliest of all brain tumors in children.
20. It was Aimee's dream to help raise awareness and funding for all childhood cancer.Hero: Jett LewisJett is just over a year old, born January 24, 2009.
21. On May 16, he was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a tumor in his eye. It is rare and spreads rapidly.
22. Jett is in the ending of his treatments but will always have to undergo eye exams under anesthesia every six weeks.Hero: Oliver KellerOliver was diagnosed with medulloblastoma (brain cancer) on January 25, 2007, at the age of four.
23. After many rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, he has been cancer free for the last year.
24. Oliver has a younger brother, Cole, and a new baby sister, Cassidy. He loves to hold and feed her.
