Syed Masud Ahmed is the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Universal Health Coverage (www.coe-uhc.org), a joint venture of Centre of Equity and Health System, ICDDR,B and James P. Grant School of Public Health at Brac University. He is also a Professor at the School since 2011. Before joining current position in July, 2013, he was Senior Research Coordinator at the Research and Evaluation Division of BRAC in Bangladesh. He was a visiting fellow (David E.
