Sub: High prices of essential commodities
Sir,
The prices of articles of everyday use is going up by leaps and bounds despite a
bumper production of food grains this year. The prices of essential commodities like
rice, puls, fish, sugar etc. Have gone up very high . As a result , the people especially those
living bellow the poverty line find it really hard to make both ends meet. Irregular supply
of essential articles from ration shop has worsened the situation. The dishonest vendors
are creating an artificial crisis in the market.
It is high time that government should take immediate stern measures to take
step against dishonest vendors to ensure a steady flow of essential commodities through
ration shop.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Bapan Mity
