Former Major General Michael Harrison retired from active duty in the United States Army in October of 2014, after serving honorably for thirty-four years. He is a graduate of Howard University, where he received a degree in English, and Central Michigan University, where he received his Master's degree in General Administration. Former Major General Michael Harrison also has a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.
