Since April 2010, running my independent consulting firm; working as a panelist on a WTO dispute and as the European Representative of PIDE. Key previous assignments were: Director (D2) of FAO Liaison Office at Geneva (2008-2010); as Pakistan's ambassador to WTO at Geneva (2002-2008); as Member Customs (Federal Board of Revenue) at Islamabad (2000-2002); as Deputy Director of World Customs Organization at Brussels (1986-1996). Received B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc from Peshawar University and Ph.D from Hull University. Married and my three sons working at Abu Dhabi, Sydney and New York. Enjoy golfing and swimming.
