She received her BA in Political Science from Vassar College in 1995 and continued master鈥檚 studies in Non Profit Mangement in New York University鈥檚 Wagner School of Public Administration. Because her mother fell ill to cancer, she was unable to finish her degree but returning to her native Panama, became one of the founders of FundaC谩ncer, a leading nonprofit dedicated to equip the only public Oncological Hospital in the country.
