I鈥檓 graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry and specialist in Clinical Pharmacology. The main goal of my PhD was to evaluate the antitumor mechanism of action of the gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a naturally present compound in plant oils like primrose and borage oil, against the most malignant brain tumor glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). A postdoctoral research was followed for the evaluation of a class of new compounds also against GBM. I also have recently concluded a second post-doc at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), The Netherlands.
