Dr. Mariana Salgado is a senior service designer at ICOS, Integrated Carbon Observation Systems. She worked previously at Inland, a design lab in the Ministry of the Interior, in Finland. Mariana has specialised in service, interaction and participatory design, and designs to end inequality, by giving a voice to vulnerable groups. Mariana has a doctoral degree from Media Lab, Aalto University and a master degree in Strategic and Product design. She host the podcast Diseño y diáspora on design for social change. The podcast has more than 500 episodes published and it is the most listened podcast in Spanish speaking countries.
