Mario started his musical journey by studying the piano, but eventually changed to classical guitar studies. He enjoyed the versatility this instrument brought and took turns exploring the worlds of jazz, bossa nova and funk rock.
His foundation for scoring films came from his collaboration with Riccardo Santoboni, a talented musician and teacher in the conservatories of Bari and Rome. In 2003 Mario graduated in Computer Science and received a masters degree in Sound Engineering. These experiences laid the ground work for his notable style built around his work in sound design, songwriting and then finally as a composer for motion pictures.
