Mari is a Food System Planner invested in the intersection between community development, agriculture and public health.
She is a graduate of Tufts University where she received an MA in Urban Planning and an MS in Agricultural Policy. Mari spent her time in this interdisciplinary program becoming an expert in the use of traditional planning tools to promote a community-based sustainable food system. She has presented on this topic at the National Conference of the American Planning Association and published her research in several publications.
Mari is an avid participant in several online communities devoted to sustainable food systems. She is the content and community manager fo
