Mark Hankins has been coaching university golf teams for most of his professional life. He has coached the programs at the University of Texas Arlington, Michigan State University, World University, and most recently at the University of Iowa. At Michigan State, he was twice named the Big Ten Coach of the Year. In the summer of 2014 he left coaching to become the University of Iowa's Assistant to the Athletic Director.
