Character is the bedrock of my being. I try to let it be the internal compass that guides my actions through life. As such I have met no obstacles I have yet to overcome.
My Grandfather was my best friend. He personally shaped the character of an entire generation of people in a small town. He would do anything for anybody and has for me. He is loved and respected by all that know him. He is the man that I have obtained my beliefs and principles from. I only wish that I can be half the man that he is was while he is suffering from alzheimers. I will miss you, but I know that I will see you again...it might just take 60 or 70 years.
