Dr. Martin Tiznado received the Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology at PURDUE University in 1999 working under the advise of Dr. Avtar K. Handa. After obtaining his Ph.D., Dr. Tiznado began working in the Research Center for Food and Development at Hermosillo, Mexico. He is the head of the Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory and the scientific leader of a group focused in the Research of Postharvest and Biotechnology of Horticultural Products belonging to the Department of Technology of Vegetable Origin Food.
