Thiri Zaw is a senior executive editor of an influential Myanmar daily newspaper, The Voice, focusing on political and economic issues. She has been working there since 2005.
She is also a Journalist Fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Oxford University, United Kingdom, in 2012/13.
She has a Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University and has a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) in Computer Studies from University of Computer Studies Yangon.
