I am Matthew Townsend, a Music Student from Barnsley, Yorkshire. I have been playing drums for 12 Years. To give you a broad idea of my style of drumming, most of my musical experiences have been with: Jazz/Big Bands Samba Ensemble Soul/Motown function Band Rock Band, CRY Brass Bands Pop Function Band As a Semi-professional, my weak genres are Metal & Latin. I am passionate about becoming a Full Time Session Musician & Teacher. This is to be achieved once I have completed my degree in Music at The Huddersfield University.
