I majored in Japanese/Teaching English as a Second Language at Portland State University in Oregon. I lived in Sendai, Japan for two years and then spent the past year in Tokyo. I'm back stateside now for the time being, living near Dallas with my family. Aside from work, my life revolves around making costumes and reading old books.
