Marlene Blas has served as associate director for meetings and events at California Western School of Law since 2002. In addition to lecturing at industry conferences, Blas is the program advisor and instructor at California State University, San Marcos in the meeting and event planning certificate program.
Blas is committed to education in the industry and served on the Ph.D. Expert Panel for the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at University of Waterloo, Canada and was a facilitator at The George Washington University. She is co-authoring an industry textbook, Tales from the Trenches.
