My personal development is marked by a bicultural education - my father is Dutch and my mother is Spanish. This motivated a strong interest in learning about other cultures and working in an international environment. I enjoy the challenge of a new environment and to learn from new experiences. I have 12 years of work experience in sustainable development and conservation in Europe, South East Asia and South America and Australia. Throughout all these experiences I have developed strong knowledge on international development policies in a wide range of contexts, and have been actively sharing that knowledge.
