I have a pet African-clawed grow-a-frog that I got as a tadpole at age 5. He inspired me to collect frogs and I now have hundreds of frog collectables!
I've been a vegetarian since sophmore year in HS. A long long time. So I've probably heard every bad joke about eating/not eating meat there is... they aren't as funny as you think they are.
