Editor's Notes
#2: Good afternoon. My name is Martin Fincham and I am the General Manager for LANSAs business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. My thanks to iSeriesInfo for inviting us to present a case study that demonstrates iSeries modernisation in action. I have called this presentation Your iSeries is a jewelbut what about the software?. Why? Well, because I am frustrated by how many people judge the iSeries based on what they see on the screen. People forget that a system is composed of two fundamental parts; the hardware and the software. Guess what? There is nothing wrong with your iSeries hardware! In many cases its the applications that are being judged as modern or not. During the case study you will see that everything is possible with an iSeries at the heart of your enterprise.
